Morocco’s OCP group wins high marks for its performance & sustainability
Morocco’s phosphates and fertilizer producer, OCP, has been awarded the Top Performers distinction by rating agency Vigeo Eiris. This award is an international recognition of the Group’s leadership in sustainable development.
Vigeo Eiris ranked OCP 3rd in the world in sustainability performance among 206 companies in the Mining & Metals sector; and 1st in the sector in emerging markets.
OCP Group’s overall performance improved by 27 points compared with last year, scoring 66/100, taking into account the company’s environmental sustainability, human resources, human rights, community involvement, business behavior and corporate governance
The Moroccan state-owned phosphate group has also been ranked by Sustainalytics agency among the top performers in the agricultural chemicals sector (with 53 companies assessed by this agency).
