Paris Hosts 4th French-Moroccan Parliamentary Forum
The 4th French-Moroccan Parliamentary Forum is held in Paris Dec.12-14 to discuss several issues related to the role of parliamentary diplomacy in combating climate change and enhancing democracy.
The two countries MPs will also look into ways of fostering Moroccan-French partnership in boosting peace, security and development in Africa and in the region.
The Moroccan delegation is led by Speakers of the House of Representatives Habib El Malki and of the House of Councillors Hakim Benchamach.
The French delegation is headed by President of the National Assembly, Richard Ferrand, and President of the Senate, Gérard Larcher.
The Moroccan-French Parliamentary Forum, which convened its first meeting in Rabat in 2013, its second in Paris in 2015 and its third in Rabat in 2018, is a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas and viewpoints between the two countries MPs on issues of common interest.
