Tunisian wanted by Interpol nabbed at Casablanca airport
A Tunisian man convicted and wanted in France for illegal activities was arrested in Morocco, at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca.
The man, 68, was arrested on Wednesday after landing. He was coming from Tunisia, according to security forces, cited by news outlet le360.
The runaway criminal has been on the Interpol wanted list with red notice, since November 2016. He is wanted in France where he was condemned in abstentia for possessing and trafficking illicit goods.
The man is detained in Morocco awaiting his extradition to Tunisia. French authorities have also been informed of the arrest.
