Customs services seized in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday more than four tons of cannabis resin concealed in a vehicle that was driving between Tangier and Tetouan in Northern Morocco.
It all started when the vehicle driver refused to pull over as ordered by customs officers and drove over the harrows erected in his way. The vehicle was immediately immobilized as its four tires punctured.
According to sources cited by le360 news website, the driver, who was alone on board, took advantage of the darkness and the craggy landscape of the locality to escape.
