President Alassane Ouattara of Côte d’Ivoire received Friday evening in Assinie, 95 km east of Abidjan, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita who conveyed him a verbal message from King Mohammed VI.

The contents of the message were not disclosed, but the news agency MAP said discussions between the two sides focused on strengthening cooperation and partnership relations between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire.

Several other topics of common interest were brought up during the meeting with focus on African issues.
