OCP, Attijariwafa Bank, Saham Finance Honored in Africa CEO Forum

Moroccan phosphate group OCP, Attijariwafa Bank and Saham Finances have been honored by the Africa CEO Forum convened lately in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

OCP, a global market leader of phosphate and its derivatives, has received the “CSR Strategy of the Year” Award for respecting and implementing a Social and Environmental Responsibility policy. The CSR strategy mobilizes a number of stakeholders (state, local authorities, NGOs, etc.)

Attijariwafa Bank Chief, Mohamed El-Kettani, and his countrywoman, Nadia Fettah, director of Saham Finances, were awarded each the trophy “CEO of the Year”.

Attijariwafa bank is the largest banking and financial group in the Maghreb and the West African monetary zone regions and a leading player in the Central African monetary zone region, with 9.1 million customers and 19,754 employees.

Saham Finances S.A. provides insurance and reinsurance services. The company also provides assistance services. It serves individuals, businesses, and companies in Africa and the Middle East.

The Africa CEO Forum gathers the most influential African and international CEOs, bankers and investors. It has established itself as a platform dedicated to the private sector in Africa as well as corporate strategy in the African context, and takes place in a high-quality setting, conducive to doing business.

The forum brings together major economic and industrial actors from 63 different countries, 40 of which are African. The Forum’s participants include heads of state, public decision-makers, bankers, capital investors as well as African and international corporate leaders.
