Costa del Sol, Morocco to Team up in Joint Tourist Offer

Costa del Sol and Morocco are planning to launch a joint tourist offer under the theme “a holiday in two continents,” said the Spanish Malaga Hoy magazine.

The publication said that meetings have been taken place between officials in the two countries to finalize the teaming up  to offer an unprecedented tourist offer.

In this respect, the same source said that representatives of Moroccan authorities and their counterparts in Marbella and Ojen are forging partnerships to market the new offer.

Malaga Hoy highlighted the pertinence of the idea and its potential to lure more tourists in light of the shared history between the two countries and their diverse tourist assets enriched by time-honored culinary traditions and cultural attractions.

The magazine recalled that approximately 190,000 Moroccans live in Costa del Sol, of whom 15,000 are residents including 1,900 in Velez and Malaga.
