Perfumery: Givaudan Expands its Footprint in Morocco with Opening of New Development Hub in Casablanca

Givaudan, a multinational manufacturer of fragrance based in Zurich, has opened a development hub in Casablanca, consolidating its presence in the North African Kingdom.

The new centre, which targets Maghreb, West Africa and South Asia markets, includes modern application and perfumery laboratories, alongside a development department and office space, enabling faster innovation across Fabric Care, Home Care, Personal Care and Fine Fragrance.

“By investing in Casablanca, we are building the creative and technical foundations to support their ambitions with agility, and to unlock the full potential of these dynamic markets.” Maurizio Volpi, President Fragrance & Beauty said.

Felix Mayr-Harting, Global Head of Consumer Products, adds: “Casablanca is a natural gateway for our regional ambitions. Our Moroccan team brings a deep understanding of consumer habits across South Asia, Middle East and Africa”.
