Liberia reiterated on Thursday in Rabat its unwavering position in favor of Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region.

This stance was expressed by Liberian Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, following talks with her Moroccan peer Nasser Bourita.

She also emphasized that Liberia, as a non-permanent member of the Security Council, will continue to work with Morocco and lend its support to the Kingdom within this UN body during the upcoming discussions scheduled for October 2026 at the UN Security Council.
