Morocco’s Partnership with Lockheed Martin Takes Central Stage at World Defense Show in Riyadh

Moroccan Minister Delegate in charge of National defense Administration, Abdellatif Loudiyi, is participating in the 2026 World defense Show, currently held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During his tour of the show, the Moroccan official visited the stand of Lockheed Martin group. “Airpower, local supply chain integration and MRO capability continue to define our decades-long partnership with Morocco,” said the U.S. defense giant in a post on its X account.

The strategic partnership between Morocco and Lockheed Martin is driven by shared commitment to innovation, security and economic progress.

Lockheed integrates Moroccan suppliers into its global supply chain, increase local content in its platforms, and enhance local manufacturing capabilities.

Lockheed Martin’s partnership with Morocco started in 1974 with the delivery of the first C-130H Hercules tactical airlifter to the Royal Moroccan Air Force.

Today, the company’s contributions include advanced defense platforms such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon, Sikorsky helicopters, radars, and integrated air and missile defense technologies.

The World Defense Show 2026 is being held in Riyadh from Feb. 8 to 12, with the participation of represntatives of major international and regional defense and security companies.
