Futsal: Morocco beat Saudi Arabia to advance to final of Islamic Solidarity Games

Morocco futsal national team defeated on Sunday Saudi Arabia 6-3 to qualify for the final of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 taking place in Riyadh.

The Moroccan goals were scored by Yanis Reddaf, Ismail Amzal, Sofiane Bourite, Sofiane Chaaraoui, Driss Rais El Fenni and Bilal El Bakkali, while the Saudi goals were netted by Ihab Mohammed, Saleh El Garni, and Nawaf Arwan.

In the final, the Atlas Lions will play against Iran which ousted Uzbekistan after a 4-2 win. Morocco is participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games with 76 athletes in 12 sports competitions. These include athletics, judo, karate, taekwondo, wrestling, muay thai, jiu-jitsu, duathlon, para weightlifting, e-sports, futsal, and sports for athletes with disabilities.
