The Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution will convene on Tuesday its 5th meeting in Rabat under the theme “Sustaining the Peace Process Momentum: Lessons Learned, Achievements, and Prospects.”
The meeting, which aims at encouraging projects and initiatives that support the prospect of lasting peace in the Middle East, is organized by Morocco in partnership with the Netherlands.
Senior political officials, special envoys, as well as actors and representatives from international organizations committed to the Two-State Solution are expected to participate in the event.
The agenda features debates and presentations focusing on the impact of the peace processes in the Middle East, efforts to support governance structures of the Palestinian state, and the economic foundations of peace in the region.
The meeting’s recommendations will be submitted to the High-Level Conference on the Two-State Solution, scheduled in New York in June 2025.
