Moroccan national team wins two places in FIFA ranking

The Atlas Lions jumped two places to take the 12th spot in the FIFA world ranking, after two consecutive wins against Niger and Tanzania as part of 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Moroccan team thus maintains its continental leadership widening the gap with its immediate follower Senegal 19th and Egypt 32nd.

Globally, the first three spots have been taken by Argentina, Spain and France.

The Atlas Lions are almost qualified to the world cup topping the ranking of their group with 15 points.
