Morocco ranks 61st in new Global Military Power index

Morocco has secured its position in the global ranking of military powers, earning the 61st spot out of 145 countries, according to the latest report released by Global Firepower (GFP).

With a score of 1.0524, Morocco stands out for its military modernization, strategic alliances, and advantageous geographical location.

The GFP’s ranking system, known as PowerIndex, incorporates an analysis of more than 60 individual factors, encompassing aspects such as military units, financial resources, logistics capabilities, and geography.

Global Firepower emphasizes that its exclusive internal formula enables smaller yet technologically advanced nations to compete on par with larger but less developed powers.

The ranking applies special variables to refine the list compiled annually. The maximum score of 0.0000, although unattainable within the given parameters, signifies the highest level of conventional combat capability.
