Cairo to host IATF2023 in November

Egypt’s capital Cairo will host the third edition of Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023) in November.

“The exhibition represents a unique opportunity to bring together African companies and make deals to achieve commercial, industrial and investment integration in the Black continent”, Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir said during a coordination meeting with a delegation of African Bank for Export.

Hosting the exhibition comes within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between the ministry and Afrexim Bank to support Egyptian companies in the African continent in various sectors, the minister added.

The last IATF took place in Durban, South Africa in 2021. Some 13 thousand businessmen attended the events during which contracts of around 35 billion dollars were signed.

Egypt hosted the first edition of the event in 2018.
