Morocco hosts 2022 U.S.-Africa Business Summit
The U.S.-Africa Business Summit, which seeks to encourage investment in the Continent, will be convened this year in Marrakesh July 19-22 under the theme: “Building Forward Together”.
A press release issued by the U.S. Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) said the summit will explore a renewed commitment by both public and private sector stakeholders to building stronger U.S.- Africa trade, investment and commercial ties as we emerge from unprecedented health and economic challenges.
The 2022 U.S.-Africa Business Summit is the first major in-person U.S.-Africa conference since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The gathering features high level and panel debates on business opportunities and challenges in agribusiness, finance, energy, health, mining infrastructure, ICT, security and creative industries.
The event facilitates connections between key African and American business leaders and investors. It provides networking opportunities, and activities that will allow attendees to meet face-to face to engage on key U.S.-Africa economic issues and re-establish important business contacts that were not possible over the past 2 years.
Participants will interact with high-level government officials and business leaders from countries with some of the most promising markets for investments and hear about business opportunities, government policies and success stories.
They will also have the possibility to engage in closed-door conversations with key decision makers and meet high-level African and American governmental delegations, and CEOs and senior executives of U.S. and African companies.
