Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita has conferred in New York with Chairperson of the African Union Commission Mahmoud Ali Youssouf on sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to a press release issued by AU, discussions focused on ways of strengthening cooperation between the African Union and Morocco, the continent’s priorities, and the challenges of integration and development in Africa.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to multilateralism and their determination to enhance coordinated African responses to serve peace, stability, and prosperity across the continent.
