Morocco’s Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administration Reform Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni has received in Paris “the African Excellence Prize” for contributions to digital transformation, the modernization of public administration and the development of artificial intelligence.
The Africa Next Awards celebrate exceptional African and diaspora figures for their leadership, innovation, and impact on the continent’s development.
During inaugural ceremony of these Awards held Thursday in the French capital, Mrs. Seghrouchni said this prize is a recognition of the major progress made in the fields of digital transition and administrative reform in the Kingdom.
The Minister highlighted the actions carried out in favor of youth and digital accessibility, as well as the efforts made by Morocco in terms of connectivity and development of digital infrastructures, especially for the benefit of rural areas. These initiatives helped to reduce digital divide and expand access to technologies.
