Morocco’s King Extends Condolences to Claude Chirac on Passing of Her Mother, Bernadette Chirac

King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and sympathy to Claude Chirac following the passing of her mother, Bernadette Chirac.

In this message, the King said he had learned with deep emotion of Bernadette Chirac’s passing, and expressed His sincere condolences and sympathy to Claude Chirac on this painful occasion, as well as to all members of her family and her loved ones.

“The Kingdom of Morocco will cherish the memory of a figure of great distinction who faithfully embodied a rich legacy of human, family, and patriotic values. We pay tribute to the memory of a woman who, alongside President Jacques Chirac, a sincere friend of Morocco and its people, consistently demonstrated her esteem for the Kingdom,” the Monarch emphasized.

The Monarch recalled the bonds of mutual appreciation, shared trust, and loyal friendship that have united the Chirac family with the Moroccan Royal Family over the years, which have helped to strengthen the exceptional relations between Morocco and France.

“I hold a special personal affection for your late mother, woven from precious shared memories,” the Monarch affirmed.

“I share in your grief and assure you of my full solidarity during this time of mourning and tribute,” said the King, who also expressed his deepest sympathy and warmest regards.
