King Mohammed VI was represented at the inauguration ceremony of the President of Costa Rica, Laura Fernández, held Friday in San José, by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami.
Talbi El Alami conveyed to Laura Fernández the Monarch’s warm congratulations and best wishes for success in her high office, in leading the friendly people of Costa Rica toward further progress and prosperity.
King Mohammed VI had previously sent a congratulatory message to Laura Fernández on the occasion of her election as President, in which he expressed satisfaction with the relations of friendship and mutual esteem existing between Morocco and Costa Rica.
In the message, the King had affirmed his strong determination to work closely with her to further strengthen these relations and elevate them to an exemplary level, to fulfil the aspirations of both friendly peoples.
