Davies Turner Company Enhances its Trailer Fleet to Meet Growing UK-Ireland -Morocco Trade

Davies Turner, a freight forwarding and logistics company, has enhanced its operational capacity on the UK-Ireland-Morocco routes to meet surging volumes in fashion, automotive and aerospace supply chains.

The British company has increased the number of its mega trailers dedicated to Moroccan services to 35 units supplied by Krone. The new trailers feature steel walls, roofs and doors to provide enhanced protection against break-ins and stowaways.

All units are equipped with GPS satellite tracking and remote door monitoring, giving customers real-time visibility and improved security throughout transit.

Davies Turner said it has seen a strong surge in UK-Morocco fashion flows, alongside sustained growth in automotive and aerospace logistics. The expanded fleet will support daily full-load trailer movements as well as groupage services, covering both import and export traffic.

The company maintains a long-standing presence in North Africa through its cooperation with local partner DTCO MAROC and a dedicated overseas delegate based in Tangier. This on-the-ground support enables Davies Turner to manage customs processes at Tangier Port efficiently and work closely with customers’ customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance.

Alongside its road operations, Davies Turner has also expanded its air cargo and sea freight activities to support Morocco’s evolving supply chains. By facilitating imports of raw materials from the Far East, Europe and Türkiye, and exports of finished goods to the USA and Western Europe, the company said it is helping clients reduce lead times and manage costs more effectively.
