Morocco reiterates its unwavering support for the national unity of Yemen and for its sovereignty over its entire territory, as well as for the Yemeni people’s right to security and stability, says a statement issued this Saturday by the Moroccan Foreign Ministry.
Morocco is closely and keenly following the latest developments in sisterly Yemen, and reiterates- based on its firm belief in the foundations of international law and the principles of neighborliness and respect for the integrity and sovereignty of states- its unwavering support for the national unity of Yemen and its sovereignty over its entire territory, as well as for the Yemeni people’s right to security and stability, says the statement.
Morocco, in line with its steadfast commitment to consolidating stability in the Arab region, reaffirms its rejection of anything that could undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and reiterates its support for all initiatives aimed at easing tensions, in the interest of security and to ensure stability for all countries in the region.
The Kingdom urges all concerned parties to remain committed to dialogue in order to reach a comprehensive political solution under the auspices of international legitimacy, in a manner that preserves the unity and sovereignty of Yemen and fulfills the aspirations of its brotherly people for a dignified life and lasting stability, the statements adds.
