The Moroccan National Railways Office (ONCF) has signed an agreement with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), becoming an official sponsor of the CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
This partnership underscores ONCF’s commitment to supporting one of the continent’s most prestigious sporting events, the railway operator said in a statement.
The official signing ceremony took place in Rabat, and was attended by Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF, Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and CAF First Vice-President, and Mohamed Rabie Khlie, Director General of ONCF.
According to ONCF, the collaboration aims at promoting sports, strengthening African unity, and empowering youth as a driving force for progress and ambition.
As a key player in Morocco’s mobility sector, ONCF will leverage its network and expertise to ensure fast and secure travel between host cities: Casablanca, Rabat, Agadir, Marrakech, Fez, and Tangier.
The goal is to provide millions of fans with an optimal experience during the tournament.
Through this partnership, ONCF also reaffirmed its mission to connect territories and bring people closer together, while placing sustainability and inclusion at the heart of its actions. Both CAF and ONCF pledge to make the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations an exemplary, accessible, and environmentally responsible competition that celebrates African football.
