African Football Fans in UK will be able this year to watch for free on TV all matches of Africa Nations Cup Morocco-2025 thanks to a deal sealed by UK Channel 4 with African Football Confederation.
Channel 4 has won exclusive rights to show in UK for free all 52 matches of the tournament to start on Dec.21 in Morocco with the participation of 24 nations vying for the African title in nine stadiums.
All matches will be broadcast live across Channel 4’s network, airing on Channel 4 streaming, E4, 4Seven, the Channel 4 app and YouTube channel.
Channel 4’s Head of Sport Pete Andrews said: “Bringing the excitement and drama of AFCON exclusively to free-to-air TV for the first time is huge for us.
CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba hailed the deal as “historic”, saying it would bring AFCON into “every UK household for the first time”.
