Low-Cost Carrier PLAY launches new route from Iceland to sunny Agadir

Icelandic low-cost airline Company PLAY launches a new route connecting Keflavík International Airport with Agadir, Morocco. The inaugural flight is scheduled for 19 December 2025, with weekly service every Friday through mid-April 2026.

This new destination joins Marrakesh, which PLAY will also serve with scheduled flights next winter. Located on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, Agadir offers Icelandic travelers a warm and sunny climate year-round, with an average of 300 sunny days annually.

Popular among holidaymakers, Agadir features long sandy beaches, modern infrastructure, and a variety of leisure activities including golf and seaside promenades.

With the addition of Agadir and Marrakesh, PLAY expands its winter sun offering including locations in Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Turkey.

The new Moroccan routes are timed to cater to peak holiday periods, including Christmas, Easter, and the winter season.
