Marsa Maroc launches “Ports4Impact” to advance corporate social responsibility
Marsa Maroc has established “Ports4Impact,” an autonomous entity dedicated to implementing and managing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This development builds upon the company’s established commitment to social responsibility while creating a more agile framework for partnerships with civil society and project developers.
The new entity represents a logical evolution of Marsa Maroc’s CSR strategy, enabling the company to enhance its community engagement, strengthen impact, and develop sustainable, meaningful partnerships. The name “Ports4Impact” reflects the company’s vision of transforming ports beyond economic platforms into vectors for social, environmental, and cultural progress.
Ports4Impact will oversee existing CSR projects, launch new initiatives, and mobilize resources around high-impact actions in environmental protection, social inclusion, sports, arts, culture, and other areas aligned with Marsa Maroc’s CSR roadmap and national priorities.
Through this initiative, Marsa Maroc reaffirms its commitment to playing an active role in the economic and social development of its operational regions both in Morocco and internationally. The company aims to support local dynamics and contribute to meeting community expectations.
As Morocco’s leading port terminal operator managing 25 terminals across 11 ports, Marsa Maroc continues to place social responsibility at the heart of its operations through dedication to environmental stewardship, social inclusion, and education.
