Morocco: Gear9, LMPS Group form strategic cybersecurity partnership
Two leading players in Morocco’s digital ecosystem have announced a strategic partnership aimed at integrating security by design into digital transformation projects. Digital transformation specialist Gear9 and cybersecurity firm LMPS Group, a member of the international FIRST network, formalized their collaboration at GITEX Africa 2025 held this week in Marrakech.
The partnership responds to growing cybersecurity threats and data sovereignty challenges in an era of accelerated digitalization. Rather than treating security as an afterthought, the companies will combine their expertise to build an integrated intervention model.
Gear9 brings its product thinking agility, customer experience orientation, and expertise in developing digital platforms across data, CRM, artificial intelligence, API management, e-commerce, and web/mobile interfaces. LMPS Group contributes its DevSecOps approach, systems protection capabilities, IT governance framework, and ISO 27001 certified expertise.
“Our ambition is to make security a lever for digital trust and performance. With LMPS Group, we guarantee our clients a secure framework, from strategic roadmap to post-deployment monitoring,” said Mounir Bouchiha, Director General of Gear9.
Amine Hilmi, Director General of LMPS Group, on his part said “this partnership provides a concrete response to businesses and institutions that can no longer separate digital innovation from critical asset protection. Security by design is becoming the new standard, and we’re proud to contribute to this with Gear9.”
The companies unveiled a joint offering for secure digital transformation targeting strategic sectors including government, banking, insurance, telecommunications, and industry. The initiative will feature:
• A joint innovation cell dedicated to security applied to digital transformation
•
• Security kits natively integrated into Gear9 platforms
•
• A unified methodological framework aligned with Agile and DevSecOps best practices and international standards
•
• Training programs and compliance support services covering data protection regulations, application security, and business continuity
This collaboration represents a significant development in Morocco’s digital security landscape, emphasizing preventative approaches to cybersecurity challenges.
