Moroccan firms foster foothold in podium of Africa’s 500 biggest companies

The number of Moroccan firms in the list of the 500 largest companies in Africa grew to 54, highlighting the expansion and diversification of Moroccan businesses on the continent.

The ranking, issued by Jeune Afrique, shows the growth of Moroccan firms operating in key sectors such as banking, telecommunications, agro-industry, and infrastructure.

These Moroccan giants display clear ambitions: not only to consolidate their position as national leaders but also to extend their influence in the African market, often competing with international players.
