
Morocco pays tribute to Moussa Faki Mahamat’s leadership at helm of AU Commission
The Moroccan delegation participating in the 46th session of the African Union (AU) Executive Committee paid a heartfelt tribute to Moussa Faki Mahamat’s leadership as head of the African Union Commission (AUC).
Speaking on Thursday during the presentation of the annual report on the Union’s activities, its organs, and designated leaders, the Moroccan delegation highly commended Moussa Faki Mahamat’s efforts and his unwavering commitment to the noble causes of the African continent, as well as to the vital interests of its citizens in terms of peace, security, and development.
The Moroccan delegation also noted that the annual report on the Union’s activities serves as a clear roadmap for the next leadership of the AU Commission, enabling it to build on past achievements and tackle the challenges facing the African continent.
The 46th session of the AU Executive Committee began on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Pan-African organization in Addis Ababa, ahead of the ordinary summit of heads of state scheduled for February 15 and 16.
