The 25th anniversary of Children’s Parliament was celebrated Tuesday at a ceremony chaired by Princess Lalla Meryem, President of the National Observatory for Children’s Rights (ONDE).

The first agreement is meant to assist Child Parliamentarians in their professional projects; the second concerns strengthening cooperation and coordination to assist activities of the Children’s Parliament, while the third establishes a collaboration to pool resources and skills, with a view to ensuring the success of Africa-oriented projects in the field of the Observatory’s activities and AMCI’s field of intervention.

The ceremony was also marked by the screening of institutional films retracing 25 years of action by the Children’s Parliament, featuring testimonies on former young parliamentarians’ experience, and highlighting dynamics and prospects of the Children’s Parliament Alumni Club, the aim being to reinforce values of citizenship and solidarity.

Another video on the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, an initiative launched by ONDE to train 395 child parliamentarians in entrepreneurial approaches, and offer them support through various training courses, was also screened during the ceremony.
