Polisario Chief Sends Condolences to Hamas, Hezbollah & Iran, Confirming Nexus with Terrorism
Head of Polisario armed militias Brahim Ghali has sent messages of condolence to Hamas, Lebanese Hezbollah, and Iran, following the killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and military commander of Hezbollah Fuad Shukr.
These messages confirm the sinister ties existing between the Algeria-backed separatist group and terrorist organizations. They also raise serious concerns about the Polisario alliance with axis of evil which is expanding and threatening the stability and peace in Africa and Europe.
Both Hamas, an Islamist militant movement, and Lebanese Hezbollah, a Shiite Muslim militant organization, are classified terrorist organizations by the United States and other western powers. Iran is also designated a state sponsor of terrorism.
In 2018, Morocco cut-off diplomatic ties with Iran over its support for Hezbollah in arming and training Polisario separatists in connivance with Algerian authorities.
According to intelligence agencies, Iran provides a wide range of support, including financial, training, and equipment to terrorist groups around the world.
Tehran continues to use its proxies, militias and terror groups across the Middle East with outposts around the world to help foment instability, carry out attacks and expand Shiite influence which has reached North Africa and Tindouf camps, becoming a breeding ground for terrorists.
Alarmed by the growing Iranian influence, U.S. Gen. Michael Langley, Chief of U.S. Africa Command, visited lately Algeria to deliver a strong warning message to Algerian rulers on Teheran’s military support to Polisario militias.
