Morocco’s King represented at investiture ceremony of newly elected President of Argentina

King Mohammed VI was represented at the investiture ceremony of the new Argentine President, Javier Milei, which took place on Sunday in Buenos Aires, by speaker of the House of Representatives Rachid Talbi El Alami.

The official investiture ceremony of Javier Milei took place at the headquarters of the Argentine Congress, in the presence of King Felipe VI of Spain, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and numerous heads of state from the region, including Chile’s Gabriel Boric, Uruguay’s Luis Lacalle Pou, Ecuador’s Daniel Noboa, Paraguay’s Santiago Pena and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, as well as delegations representing several countries from around the world.

Talbi El Alami conveyed to Javier Milei the greetings and congratulations of King Mohammed VI on the occasion of his election to the presidency of Argentina, and underlined Morocco’s readiness to advance the excellent relations between Rabat and Buenos Aires in various fields.

King Mohammed VI had sent a message of congratulations to Javier Milei in which the Sovereign expressed his delight at the close and privileged relations between Morocco and Argentina, which are based on solid friendship and mutual appreciation. The Sovereign had expressed determination to work together with Javier Milei to deepen bilateral cooperation and develop it in the various fields of common interest, in the service of the two friendly peoples.
