Chad’s capital N’Djamena hosting Central Africa Business Energy Forum Nov.8-10
Chad’s capital N’djamena is hosting, this November 8 to 10, the third regional energy gathering known as Central Africa Business Energy Forum (CABEF).
The event is held under the theme: “Capitalize on energy infrastructure investment opportunities in Central Africa and ensure energy security in the sub-region through public-private partnerships.”
The forum aims to unite Central African States to exploit their natural, human, and institutional resources.
Ndolenodji Alixe Naïmbaye, Chad’s minister of Energy and Oil sector, said the event will gather energy sector experts, researchers, government and private sectors, with the aim of fostering the development of the energy sector in Central Africa.
The second edition of the forum took place in the cities of Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire of Congo.
CABEF defines itself as a meeting platform for the Central African sub-region and neighboring countries with the objective of developing regional energy industry and the establishment of public-private relationships.
