Gabon’s transitional Premier attends G77+ China Summit in Havana as maiden foreign visit
Ndong Sima, the Transitional Prime Minister of Gabon made his first foreign visit last week to attend the G77+China Conference in Havana, in Cuba.
Ndong Sima represented Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, the leader of the transition in Gabon who toppled former leader on August 30 in a military coup, Gabon Review reports.
The two-day G77+China Summit concluded on Saturday September 16 with a call for more participation of the Global South in the global governance system. The event was attended by delegations from more than 100 countries, including over 30 Heads of State and Government.
G77+China is the largest multilateral coordination organization among developing countries and accounts for more than 80 percent of the world’s population and over two-thirds of UN member countries.
