Rabat & Lusaka look forward to enhancing further cooperation ties

Morocco and Zambia are looking into ways of strengthening political dialogue, consultations, and cooperation ties in various sectors of common interests.

First Deputy Speaker of Zambia’s National Assembly Mrs. Malungo Chisangano, who is visiting Morocco from 15 to 22 April, conferred with Foreign minister Nasser Bourita. Talks focused on bilateral relations, the exchange of experiences and latest developments on the African and international scenes.

Mrs. Malungo, who is accompanied by a group of lawmakers, held separate meetings with Speakers of the House of Representatives and of the House of Councillors.

Talks covered ways of fostering coordination and consultation between the two countries’ legislative institutions and provided opportunity to exchange views on Moroccan and Zambian electoral systems, parliamentary regulations and experiences as well as the government’s accountability to the Parliament.
