Germany hits back Chad, expels Ndjamena’s envoy
German authorities have expelled Chad’s ambassador to the European country Mariam Ali Moussa, less than a week after the African country also flashed out Germany’s envoy Christian Gordon Kricke.
The foreign ministry in a statement Tuesday indicated Ali Moussa was requested to leave the German territory within 48 hours.
The ministry said the move was in reaction to Ndjamena’s baseless April 07 decision asking Kricke to leave the African country.
Chadian authorities blamed the German diplomat for “ill-mannered attitude” and “disrespect for diplomatic protocols according to Vienna Convention.”
The German ministry however apologized for expelling Ali Moussa.
