World Cup 2022: Morocco game-changer, wins hearts of globe

The players of the Moroccan national soccer team and their mums will never forget the magic moments they lived when King Mohammed VI received them Tuesday at the royal place in Rabat.

Accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, the Monarch rewarded president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation Fouzi Lakjaâ, coach Walid Regragui and the players with Royal Wissams before posing for a family photo with the honored heroes and their mums.

By receiving the players’ mothers, the Sovereign pays tribute to the Moroccan women for having instilled the values of patriotism in their children. The move also shows the importance the Sovereign grants to Moroccan woman, pillar stone of family and society.
