Morocco’s King sends message to President of Mauritania

King Mohammed VI has sent a message to President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazaouani. The message was handed on Tuesday in Nouakchott to the Mauritanian Head of State by Moroccan Minister of Economic Inclusion Younes Skouri.

The Moroccan envoy delivered few days ago royal messages to President of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimba and to President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi. No details have been released on the content of the messages.

In Nouakchott, Mr. Skouri told journalists that his meeting with President El Ghazaouani was an opportunity to review the distinguished relations between the Moroccan Sovereign and the Mauritanian Head of State and between the two neighboring countries which share a common history.

Moroccan-Mauritanian ties are based on solid foundations, mutual respect and a strong strategic partnership and cooperation serving the interests of the two countries and peoples, added the minister.
