King Mohammed VI hails Morocco-UK solid friendship, fruitful cooperation

King Mohammed VI has hailed the solid friendship and fruitful cooperation binding Morocco and the United Kingdom in a message of congratulations he addressed to Rishi Sunak on his appointment as Prime Minister, following his election as head of the Conservative Party.

In his message, the Sovereign expressed to Rishi Sunak his best wishes for the fulfillment of his high office, with a view to meeting the aspirations of the friendly British people for greater progress and prosperity.

The King took this opportunity to hail the quality of the ties uniting the two Kingdoms, which are marked with the seal of solid friendship and fruitful cooperation.

He also expressed his determination to work, together with the British Prime Minister, to consolidate further the partnership between Morocco and the United Kingdom, in the service of the common interests of the two peoples.
