Morocco re-elected member of UN Committee on Child’s Rights

Moroccan law professor Hynd Ayoubi Idrissi has been re-elected member of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child for the third consecutive term.

The re-election that took place during a vote held Monday in New York by States Parties to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is an international recognition of Morocco’s efforts deployed to advance and protect Children’s rights.

Ms. Ayoubi Idrissi holds a PhD in Human Rights from the University of Grenoble in France. She served as Vice-Dean at the Rabat School of Law, Economics and Social Sciences.

Ms. Idrissi authored several studies and researches on child and women rights. She is also a founding member of the UNESCO Chair on “Women and their rights” at the Rabat School Law. She is a consultant of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the UN Economic and Social Commission, the Mediterranean Human Rights Network and other organizations.
