An explosion Wednesday in a cement plant located in the Kasserine governorates, west-central Tunisia, caused injuries to 12 workers according to the first count, reports say.
The tragedy occurred after a machine exploded during the production process, reports note citing labor union at the plant located in the town of Feriana.
The office of the prosecutor at the Kasserine Court of First instance has reportedly launched a probe into explosion to identify responsibilities.
