Morocco’s King, Commander of the Faithful, commemorates Laylat Al Qadr
King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, commemorated on Thursday Laylat Al Qadr, the 26th day of Ramadan.
On this religious occasion, the King performed the prayers of Al-Icha and Taraouih.
The minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs proceeded to the closing of “Sahih Al Boukhari” before the Commander of the Faithful.
Given the preventive measures in force, the Sovereign celebrated this blessed night in a private setting and with very reduced attendance.
Laylat al-Qadr or Night of Destiny commemorates the night on which God first revealed the Qurʾān to the Prophet Mohammad.
