Moroccan Mohamed Benhammou appointed president of African Cyber Security Federation
The 1st edition of the Forum “Brazza-cybersecurity” that took place in Brazzaville Sept. 16 – 17 highlighted by the formalization of the constitution of the African Federation of Cybersecurity, whose presidency was entrusted to Moroccan Mohamed Benhammou.
The holding of this Forum is part of the dynamics of the 10th international conference on security in Africa, “Security Forum”, held in Marrakech in February 2019.
Speaking on this occasion, Benhammou, president of the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies (CMES), said that the digital space must be designed and perceived through the prism of geography, geostrategy and geopolitics.
He pointed out that the installation, description and analysis of physical network infrastructures are being mapped and are becoming a strategic and geopolitical issue.
