Morocco-Spain: Professional Football Leagues Sign MoU

Moroccan and Spanish professional football leagues, LNFP and La Liga, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to share experience in several areas including management, marketing and trading.

The agreement, signed in Madrid on Tuesday, will enable the Moroccan side led by Saïd Naciri to take a leaf out of La Liga’s book in various ways, Le360.ma reports.

La Liga, ranked the second strongest global football league by Germany-based International Federation of Football History & Statistics, IFFHS, will provide support to improve TV promotion of various championships organized by the Moroccan football professional league, namely the first and second professional leagues.

The LNFP will also lean on La Liga expertise for the digital promotion of Moroccan professional football around the world.

As part of the agreement, the two sides pledge to fight match fixing, racism and discrimination.
