King Mohammed VI to Resume Normal Activity without Restrictions after Heart Operation
King Mohammed VI of Morocco underwent a successful operation on Monday (February 26) following a heart rhythm disorder, the Moroccan official news agency (MAP) said.
The King had suffered an atrial flutter last January. A radio frequency ablation of this arrhythmia, performed Monday at the Ambroise Paré clinic in Paris, enabled the normalization of the heart rhythm, the King’s physicians said in a statement carried by MAP.
The statement added that the Sovereign will resume his normal activities without any restriction after the end of a rest period as prescribed by his treating physicians.
