Air Europa to Launch two Weekly Madrid-Marrakech Flights

Regional Spanish airline, Air Europa, said it will launch two weekly flights on the Madrid-Marrakech air route starting from December.

The low-cost carrier, subsidiary of the Spanish tourism holding “Globalia, said that the flights will be served by an Embraer E190 aircraft with a capacity of 120 passengers.

The inaugural flight will take place on December 6 in coincidence with the celebration of the Spanish Constitution Day.

The first flight will take off from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport at 15.15 p.m. (local time) to land in the Marrakech-Menara airport at 16.15 p.m. Moroccan departures will take place at 17.15 p.m. and arrivals at 20.20 p.m.

Direct air routes to tourism markets are key to achieving Morocco’s 10-year tourism plan, Vision 2020, aiming to double the size of tourist sector and boosting revenues to $15bn annually by the end of the decade.
