Ali Namdar, notorious leader of Sweden’s Foxtrot criminal network, has been captured in Morocco. The 21-year-old man is accused of inciting young people to commit a large number of violent acts and crimes in Sweden.
Namdar is an important person for Foxtrot and plays key role in instigating serious violent crimes, says Theodor Smedius, superintendent at the police department.
Ali Namdar was on Europol’s “most wanted” list. The European law enforcement agency has been tracking Namdar for a long time, describing him as “high-value target”.
Namdar is also wanted by Norwegian police for his involvement in several acts of violence, including a grenade attack in September 2025.
Sweden’s State Prosecutor Helene Gestrin said an extradition request will be sent to Morocco.
