Texas Deadly Floods: Morocco’s King offers condolences to President Trump
King Mohammed VI has sent a message to U.S. President Donald Trump to express “his deep sadness” after catastrophic flooding killed at least 104 people in Texas. Many of the victims were campers and residents caught off guard by the rapid rise of floodwaters
In his message of condolences, the King said he was deeply saddened by the news of the flash floods in Texas, which unfortunately caused many casualties. “May the victims of this tragedy rest in peace,” said the Sovereign.
On this sad occasion, the King offered his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to President Trump, the grieving families, and the American people.
With additional rain on the way, more flooding remains a threat in saturated parts of the U.S. state. Rescue efforts are ongoing as authorities search for survivors and assess the damage across affected areas. The death toll is expected to rise as crews are looking for many missing people.
