Libyan Authorities identify suspects in killing of “Al-Bidja”

Libyan authorities have announced the identification of two suspects in the assassination of Major Abdulrahman Milad, commonly known as “Al-Bidja.” The attack took place on a road connecting Tripoli with the city of Zawiya, according to a statement from the Attorney General’s Office, released earlier this week.

Milad was ambushed while traveling between the two cities. The Attorney General’s Office reported that forensic investigations have pinpointed the vehicle used by the assailants, both in approaching and fleeing the crime scene. Additionally, investigators have identified the weapon believed to have been used in the attack.

In response to these findings, the Public Prosecution has issued arrest warrants for the two suspects and has directed the Ministry of Interior to execute the arrests promptly. The authorities are taking swift action to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice, underscoring their commitment to resolving the case and maintaining security.
