Mohammed VI Champions Cup: Morocco’s Raja & Wydad to clash in last 16 round

Raja Casablanca and Wydad Casablanca qualified for the 16 round fixtures of the 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup, known officially as the Mohammed VI Champions Cup. The two teams will clash for the last 16 following draw done on October 5 in Saudi Arabia.

The two Moroccan giants will first lock horns for the first leg on November 2 at Mohammed V complex in Casablanca. The second leg on the same pitch will take place November 23.

Raja booked their place for the knockout stage after axing Palestinian team Hilal Al-Quds back-to-back on the two legs. Wydad on the other hand saw off Sudan’s Al Merreikh.

Other 16 round fixtures include Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya vs MC Alger, Al Ittihad Alexandria vs Al Muharraq, Ismaily vs Al Jazira, Al Wasl vs Ittihad Jeddah, Olympic Safi vs Esperance, FC Nouadhibou vs Al Shorta and Al Shabab- Saudi Arabia vs Shabab Jirdan.
